Sear Mushrooms: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear mushrooms until golden brown (5-7 mins), then set aside.
Crisp Gnocchi: In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add gnocchi and pan-fry for 8-10 mins until golden and crispy.
Add Aromatics: Lower heat; add remaining 2 tbsp butter, minced garlic, and thyme. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Prepare Miso: In a small bowl, whisk miso paste with hot water until smooth and pürüzsüz.
Combine: Pour the miso glaze into the skillet and add the mushrooms back in. Toss for 1-2 mins to coat everything evenly.
Garnish & Serve: Season with black pepper. Garnish with optional parmesan or chives and serve immediately.
