说明
1
Preheat your oven to 177 °C (175 °C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
💡
提示:Using parchment paper prevents sticking and makes cleanup a breeze.
2
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and smooth.
💡
提示:Ensure the butter is only slightly warm, not hot, to avoid scrambling the eggs.
3
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
💡
提示:Don't overmix the eggs; just incorporate them until the batter is homogenous.
4
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
💡
提示:Whisking the dry ingredients helps distribute the leavening agent evenly.
5
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed or by hand until just combined. The dough will be soft and slightly sticky.
💡
提示:Overmixing can lead to tough cookies; stop as soon as no dry streaks remain.
6
Gently fold in the chocolate chunks or chips.
💡
提示:A mix of chocolate chunks and chips provides varied texture and melt.
7
Scoop rounded portions of dough (about 30 ml each) onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
💡
提示:For extra thick cookies, use a larger scoop or roll dough into generous balls. You can slightly flatten them if you prefer less puffiness.
8
Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft and underdone. They will continue to set as they cool.
💡
提示:Crucially, do not overbake if you want that signature soft, chewy texture. They should appear pale in the center.
9
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for at least 15-20 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
💡
提示:This resting period is essential for the cookies to firm up and achieve their perfect texture.
