仔细检查食谱的准确性。

说明

Preheat oven to 177 °C (175 C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

💡

提示:Parchment paper prevents hot spots and guarantees an even bake.

Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth and glossy.

💡

提示:Make sure the melted butter is not hot to avoid scrambling the egg in the next step.

Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract vigorously for about 1 minute until the mixture slightly thickens.

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, folding with a spatula just until dry pockets disappear.

💡

提示:Do not overmix once the dry ingredients are added to maintain a tender crumb.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly dispersed throughout the dough.

💡

提示:Reserve a few chocolate chips to press onto the tops of dough balls before baking for a bakery look.

Scoop 12 equal portions of dough (about 30 ml each) and arrange 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and set while the center remains pale and soft.

💡

提示:Cookies will look slightly underdone in the center but will finish setting as they cool.

Allow cookies to rest on the hot baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool.

📝厨师备注

Store in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Keep a slice of plain sandwich bread in the container to maintain maximum softness.
