- ✓30 ml granulated sugar
- ✓15 ml fresh lemon juice
- ✓1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ✓0.3 tsp ground nutmeg

- ✓120 ml light brown sugar
- ✓120 ml unsalted butter
- ✓0.3 tsp fine salt
仔细检查食谱的准确性。
说明
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease an 8-inch square baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
💡
提示:Center the oven rack for balanced top and bottom heat distribution.
2
In a large mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with granulated sugar, lemon juice, 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
💡
提示:A blend of sweet and tart apples yields the most complex flavor profile.
3
Spread the seasoned apples into an even layer in the greased baking dish.
💡
提示:Gently press down the fruit to create a flat base for the topping.
4
In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and the remaining 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon. Add the chilled butter cubes and work them into the mixture using a pastry cutter or fingers until crumbly pea-sized clusters form.
💡
提示:Ensure the butter stays cold so the crumb topping bakes crisp instead of melting flat.
5
Evenly distribute the oat streusel mixture over the apple layer, gently pressing it across the edges.
6
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the oat crust turns golden brown and the fruit filling bubbles around the edges.
💡
提示:If the top begins to brown too quickly, tent loosely with a sheet of foil for the remaining time.
7
Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before scooping into bowls.
💡
提示:Resting helps the syrupy juices thicken up slightly.
📝厨师备注
Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream or fresh whipped cream. Keep leftovers stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, reheating in a 325 degrees F oven to revive the crunchy crust.
