说明
1
Preheat your grill or oven broiler to medium-high heat (about 204 °C/200 °C). Line a baking sheet with foil if using the oven method.
💡
提示:Make sure grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent fish from sticking.
2
Prepare the mango salsa by combining diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice in a medium bowl. Toss gently, season with a pinch of salt, and set aside in the refrigerator.
💡
提示:Letting the salsa sit for 10-15 minutes allows all the tropical flavors to meld together.
3
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub each fillet with olive oil and season evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
4
Place salmon on the grill or baking sheet skin-side down. Cook for 6-8 minutes, then brush generously with the BBQ sauce on top.
5
Continue cooking for another 2-4 minutes until the sauce caramelizes and the salmon flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature reaches 63 °C/63 °C).
💡
提示:Watch closely in the last couple of minutes so the sugars in the BBQ sauce glaze rather than burn.
6
Remove the salmon from heat, top generously with the chilled mango salsa, and serve immediately.
📝厨师备注
Serve with jasmine rice, quinoa, or roasted asparagus for a complete meal. Store leftover salsa separately in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
