说明

Preheat your oven to 204 °C (200 °C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

💡

提示:Using parchment paper makes cleanup a breeze!

Prepare three shallow dishes. In the first, place the flour. In the second, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the third, combine the Italian breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Pat the mozzarella cubes dry with a paper towel. Dredge each cube in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Finally, roll the cube generously in the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Place the coated mozzarella cubes onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.

💡

提示:Double-coating (dipping in egg and breadcrumbs again after the first coating) can create an even thicker crust, but ensure cubes are refrozen for at least 30 minutes between coatings to prevent sogginess.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the coating is golden brown and the cheese is melted and just starting to ooze.

💡

提示:Keep a close eye on them as ovens vary; overbaking can lead to excessive cheese leakage.

Let the bites cool on the baking sheet for a minute or two before serving. This allows the cheese to set slightly, reducing the risk of burns.
