คำแนะนำ
1
Preheat your oven to 177 °C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:Parchment prevents sticking and eliminates the need for greasing.
2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until just incorporated and a thick, fudgy dough forms. Do not overmix, as this can lead to tougher cookies.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:The dough will be quite thick and sticky—this is normal and ensures a dense, brownie-like texture.
3
Spread the powdered sugar in a shallow bowl or plate.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:For a thicker sugar coating that resists absorption, roll the balls and let them sit for 2-3 minutes before rolling again.
4
Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the dough into balls roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until generously coated, then place on prepared sheets about 2 inches apart.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:Larger balls yield a more dramatic crackle pattern and chewier centers.
5
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly underdone. The cookies will firm up as they cool.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:Overbaking is the main enemy of chewy cookies. Remove them when they appear just barely set in the middle.
6
Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 3-4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
💡
เคล็ดลับ:Moving them too early can cause them to crumble—they need that brief rest to set.
