Instruksi

Preheat your oven to 204 °C (200 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, and dill. Mix until well incorporated.

💡

Tip:Using softened butter makes it easier to blend the herbs and garlic without overworking the mixture.

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season generously with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

💡

Tip:Drying the salmon ensures a better sear and helps the butter mixture adhere.

Arrange the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the garlic-herb butter evenly over the top of each fillet, ensuring it covers the surface.

Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the buttered salmon.

💡

Tip:The lemon juice not only adds brightness but also helps to emulsify the butter slightly as it melts.

Bake for 12-18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets and your desired level of doneness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork.

Optional: For a slightly crisped top, you can switch the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching very carefully to prevent burning.

💡

Tip:Keep a close eye during broiling as it can change from golden to burnt very quickly.

Remove from oven, garnish with extra fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
