Instruksi
1
Halve the cucumbers lengthwise and use a spoon to scrape out the watery central seeds.
💡
Tip:Removing the seeds is key to preventing a watery sauce.
2
Coarsely grate the cucumber flesh, then place it inside a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. Squeeze firmly to remove as much moisture as possible.
💡
Tip:The drier the cucumber, the thicker and creamier your dip will remain.
3
In a mixing bowl, combine the strained cucumber with the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh dill.
4
Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving to allow the garlic and herb flavors to fully develop.
💡
Tip:Don't rush the resting time; it mellows the raw garlic bite.
